Shampoo and Condition
Wash your bundles every 2-3 weeks using a sulfate- and paraben-free shampoo and conditioner to keep them fresh and buildup-free. Going more than a month without washing can lead to matting and product buildup, affecting the longevity of your hair.
Deep Conditioning
For extra moisture and softness, apply a sulfate- and paraben-free deep conditioning mask and let it sit for 12-24 hours to deeply nourish the hair. Avoid applying conditioner directly to the knots of your frontal or closure, as this can loosen them over time and lead to shedding. Instead, focus on areas with product buildup, keeping conditioner at least an inch away from the knots.
Detangling & Brushing
Gently detangle your bundles using a paddle brush or wide-tooth comb, working from ends to roots to minimize shedding and breakage. Handle with care to maintain the hair’s natural luster and longevity.
Heat Styling
Limit the use of hot tools to prevent heat damage. When styling with heat, always apply a heat protectant to preserve the hair’s natural texture and shine.
Hair Oils & Shine Serums
A little goes a long way—use lightweight hair oils or serums to maintain moisture and shine. However, avoid applying too much, as excess product can make the hair look greasy instead of naturally radiant.
Preventing Shedding
To reduce shedding, do not cut your wefts. Keeping your tracks intact helps maintain the hair’s fullness and durability over time.
Water Temperature Matters
Always wash your hair with lukewarm water—never extremely hot water, as excessive heat can weaken knots and dry out your bundles.
By following these steps, your hair will remain soft, silky, and long-lasting, just as it should be.
